William Belisle

William Belisle has been developing his particular style of painting for many years, while working in various ventures, including commercial graphics.

Although his work has included other mediums, painting with oils has become his preferred choice, with a natural progression to Giclee limited edition fine art prints.

Besides Bill's outstanding automotive paintings, some of his most impressive work has been created on a wooden backround, incorporating the wood's natural color and graining which compliment the final result of his still life's in a dramatic way. Whatever the subject matter, consistent throughout his paintings is the close attention to representational detail, which aids in creating the illusion of depth and texture.

Both Bill and his wife Jeanne (also a fine painter), owner of Brickyard Studios, have participated in many local and regional exhibitions, winning numerous awards for their representational fine art renditions, and have sold paintings and prints throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe.
